Little Steven Hoff! That is great news! I am very proud of you and Dan! I had an amazing run there and “grew up ” into the confident person I am today because of both you and Dan! The memories I have there are unprecedented. I would wish you good luck but I know you don’t need luck! You will bring Sauce to brand new heights! Dan good luck in your endeavors! You too will be successful in whatever you do! As soon as your not nervous it means you don’t care!

I started working for Sauce the first summer the doors opened and continued on and off for about six years. It was by far the longest job I have ever come close to working in my life, which for me definitely means something. I had previously worked with Dan in the late 90s at the Med Grill and always enjoyed that working relationship. Dan you were a fantastic boss and continue to be a great friend. It will be strange not seeing you as the face behind Sauce, but I congratulate you on your new ventures and look forward to seeing what will come. Steve, you have always been a fantastic co worker, person and friend and I am so excited that you are taking on this new endeavour. Sauce has always been like a second home, I have so many fond memories and I am so glad that it will be staying within the Sauce family. Good luck to you both, Kristina xox

Steve, Gary, crew & family,
Firstly, I would like to say that I stumbled on this restaurant website quite by accident. I don’t know any of these people personally, so this may or may not be appropriate.

What I would like to say is that the eloquent way Steve writes really pulled me in – so much that I feel like I know the group first hand. That’s a rare talent that most can’t even begin to understand.

As I sat here reading about the relationship between Dustin, Steve and Gary I felt tears streaming down my face. No words can really say how much this story moved me. I do believe that Dustin knew how much he meant to you all and how important you were to him. Whatever his story is or how he came to be with you, he was meant to be a part of all your lives.

You will all carry a little bit of him with you wherever you go, and he will live on through your stories.

I wish you all the best.
