Our Story
New owner. New chef. New Sauce. I’m proud to say I’ve worked at Sauce since nearly the very beginning back in 2004 and, while I’ve been a small shareholder since 2007, I bought the controlling interest in August of 2011. Our room is filled with excitement these days as we welcome our new chef, Andrew Hrushowy and our new cocktail guru, Ryan Malcom. We’ve always had a dedication to creating top quality cuisine and cocktails, but with Andrew and Ryan’s talent now behind us, we’ve stepped things up to a whole other level.
We serve contemporary Canadian cuisine sourced as often as possible from local and sustainable ingredients. All of our chicken is sourced from Island Farmhouse Poultry in the Cowichan Valley, and all of our salmon, prawns and tilapia are Ocean Wise Certified by the Vancouver Aquarium. All of our draught beer selections are brewed locally and we had Draught Wise install a state of the art draught delivery system to ensure each pint is poured to perfection.
The open layout of our room allows for a great deal of flexibility for serving large groups and we pride ourselves in our ability to make your special occasion even more special. Office parties, birthdays, receptions, or reunions, allow us to help you celebrate them with style. We have three group menus for parties of fifteen people or more, and can accommodate groups of up to 130 people!
