How the heck do you capture the essence of your restaurant in a couple of paragraphs without sounding clichéd, cheesy, or arrogant? The simple answer is: I really have no bloody idea. Although EXTREMELY passionate about creating high end cuisine from scratch with local ingredients, we don’t see the need to serve it with attitude or arrogance. Sauce makes every effort to hire friendly, fun, and REAL people who enjoy what they do, and strive to provide you with an enjoyable and entertaining experience each and every time you join us. Whether creating videos of us cooking and bartending, or snapping photos for our loyal twitter followers, we make sure we’re always having fun!  We’re local. Sauce makes every effort to source ingredients from other locally owned businesses on Vancouver Island. By cultivating open, honest, and long term relationships with local businesses such as Phillips Brewery, Island Farmhouse Poultry, and Muse Winery, we make every effort to support the community we live in. If you haven’t noticed, Victoria is alive with local businesses providing amazing products and services. I suggest you head downtown and check out the plethora of shops like Outlooks for Men, Lab Salons, Suasion Clothing, Cascadia Bakery, and Discovery Coffee, that this city has to offer. We’re listening. We try to respond to all the reviews we find on websites like, but not limited to, Urban Spoon, Yelp, Foursquare, and Dine Here, will also be posted on our very own website.  We’re not perfect, and the only way to improve is to listen and act upon the feedback of our treasured guests. Contemporary Canadian Cuisine crafted with care and focused on local ingredients, high quality wine beer and cocktails, and energetic and entertaining service, all provided at an extremely reasonable price.
